On September 29, 2025, I.E. Medica’s Oncology Department proudly hosted a heartfelt celebration of World Pharmacists Day at Healthway Cancer Care Hospital. The event brought together healthcare professionals, advocates, and pharmacy champions to recognize the indispensable role pharmacists play in cancer care, patient safety, and public health.

The highlight of the gathering was a thought-provoking keynote by Dr. Hilton Lam, MHA, PhD, who shared timely insights on pharmacoeconomics—an emerging field that examines the cost-effectiveness of pharmaceutical interventions and their impact on healthcare systems.
